Fragrivo is built to be usable with a keyboard, a screen reader, a magnifier, or none of those. That work is in the pages themselves rather than in a widget bolted on top, so it is there on your first visit whether or not you ever find this page.

What that means here

It works without a mouse

Every link, button, quantity control and form field can be reached with Tab and used with Enter or Space. The first thing Tab reaches on any page is a link that jumps you past the menu to the products.

You can see where you are

Whatever has keyboard focus draws a visible ring. We never remove that ring to make a page look tidier.

It is built from real HTML

Headings are headings, buttons are buttons, and the product facts are a description list. Screen readers are given a page whose structure matches what it looks like, which is the part an overlay cannot add afterwards.

Photos are described

Product photographs carry the product's name. Thumbnails sitting next to that same name are marked decorative instead, so a screen reader does not read the name twice.

It respects reduced motion

If your device is set to reduce motion, the transitions here stop.

It survives zoom and small screens

The layout reflows rather than scrolling sideways, so text can be enlarged without losing half of it off the edge.

Where we are not finished

We aim at WCAG 2.1 Level AA and have not had the site audited by anyone outside the business, so we will not claim we meet it. This is a small shop, run by one family, and the honest statement is that we have done the work listed above and we keep finding more.

If something blocks you

Write to [email protected] and say what page you were on and what would not work. A real person reads it. If a page stops you from buying something, tell us what you wanted and a person will help you complete it.
